Q1:  What is lash perming course?

Lash perming or lash lift, is a cosmetic treatment to enhance the natural curl of the eyelashes. It involves curling the lashes upwards from the root using  a specialized tools. During a lash perming treatment, silicone pads or rods are used to lift the lashes upwards. A perming solution is applied to break down the bonds in the hair and reshape the lashes into a curled position, called keratin method. This is followed by a neutralizing solution to set the curl.

Q2: What is the difference between lash extension course and lash perming course?

While both lash extension and lash perming courses focus on enhancing eyelashes, they differ in techniques and outcomes.  Lash extension courses involve attaching synthetic extensions to natural lashes for added length and fullness, while lash perming courses focus on curling or lifting natural lashes to create a more lifted and enhanced appearance without the need for extensions.  Each technique caters to different client preferences and desired looks in the beauty industry.

Q3: How long do lash perming last?

Lash perming results typically last around 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the individual's natural lash growth cycle. As new lashes grow in, the permed lashes will eventually shed and return to their natural state.

Q4: How do I care for lash perming?

After lash perming, avoid getting lashes wet or applying eye makeup for the first 24-48 hours. Use gentle cleansers and avoid rubbing or pulling on the lashes. Regular brushing with a clean mascara wand can help maintain the curl.

Q5: Can I wear makeup after do lash perming?

Yes, you can wear makeup and mascara after 4 hours of the lash perming treatment to allow the lashes to fully set. Waterproof mascara should be avoided as it can be harder to remove and may weaken the curl over time.
